FG to flag off distribution of Covid-19 relief package to some Abuja communities today.
The federal government is going to flag off the distribution of Covid-19 intervention relief package to three communities in Abuja.
The honorable minister of humanitarian services and disaster management Haj, Sadiya Umar Faruk, has disclose this in a morning programme of the NTA Abuja, Good morning Nigeria.
The minister named Kwali, Kuje and Abaji communities as the first beneficiaries of the the intervention programme. According to the minister, they are going to liaise with community leaders to identify the must vulnerable families in those community. She also state that she will be represented in some of the community
Hon. Sadiya also made it clear that the schools feeding programme will still continue as the government is putting up measures to ensure that daily food reaches the children even when school is not in session.
However, the minister said as at now there is no provision from the government to distribute money to Nigerian in other to ease their suffering in this lockdown period.
