Ex Governor Yari calls on PDP to stop making noise about supreme court
The former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, has berated leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for rejecting the Supreme Court judgement on the 2019 gubernatorial election in Imo State.
This was due to the sack of Emeka Ihedioha on the 14th January 2020. Since then, the leadership of the main opposition party rejected the judgement, describing it as “accursed”, and embarked upon several act of protest.
But Yari slammed the party leaders, describing the leaders rejection of the ruling as hypocritical noisemakers
Yari stated this on Friday when he visited the National Secretariat of APC to congratulate the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on the Imo court judgement.
“We have come to visit the party’s National Chairman on the issue of Supreme Court after the judgment and also intimidation by the opposition PDP who are making noise about the issue.
“If the PDP makes noise on issue of Imo what about Zamfara, what are we going to say, did we make any protest? We did not come out to the streets to protest after Nigerians said the judgment of Zamfara was a miscarriage of justice,” Yari said.
