Plateau youths hold candle light procession in honor of slain uni. Maid student Ropvil


The plateau state youths has held a candle light procession to honor one of it’s own who was kidnapped and later killed by Boko haram insurgents in Borno state.

Dayciya, a 200lvl student of University of Maiduguri was kidnapped on the 9th of January while returning to school after the Christmas break.

He was later brutally murdered by a teenage insurgent in a video clip.

The mourners who wore all black to demonstrate their grieve started the journey from the secretariat junction in jos.

In a post on Facebook the Nasarawa reporters shared photos of the events and wrote, Ongoing Candlelight procession in Jos in honor of Ropvil Daciya, 200L student of University of Maiduguri kidnapped and killed by Boko Haram along Maiduguri-Damaturu road on the 9th January 2020.
Plateau mourns.
