Breaking News- Court dismissed APC’s appeal Against Governor Bala Mohammad


The Court of Appeal, Jos Division, has on Friday, affirmed the victory of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state.

The court dismissed the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, former Governor Mohammed Abubakar’s appeal which challenging the victory of Bala Mohammed as the duly elected governor of Bauchi State.

Muric calls for total abolishment of ex Governors, senators allowances


A group of Muslim Rights Concerns (MURIC) has called on President Buhari to quickly abolished the dubious way of payment to political office holders after their tenure.

The director of MURIC, Professor Ishaq Akintola made this known in a statement he personally signed himself to where he called on the president to hastily stop any public official from collecting such bogus allowances.

How can Nigeria come out of its financial mess if our leaders continue to behave like this? Public office should be for those who are willing to serve, not for those aiming to be served,” MURIC said.

Read as 9 year old girl reportedly commits suicide in Benue state


A 9 year old girl has commit suicide in Benue state. The girl, Maria Abah was said to have hung herself at the Bem Hotel road in Ankpa quarters Markurdi on Thursday the 28th of November.

Confirming the incident, the state spokesperson of the police command in the area Catherine Anene said, they received a report that a 9 year old girl’s body, Maria Abah, was found in the the bathroom.

She further stated that the corps have been deposited at the St. Therera’s Hospital in Markurdi, the state capital of Benue state, Anene also disclosed that a certain prophetess is cooling down in their custody for questioning

The plateau state governor, Simon Bako Lalong who launched the car encouraged plateau youths to emulate the creative nature of the young man.

Use of Google Map While Driving is NOT a Serious Traffic Offence, FRSC Clarifies


“The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to an online publication where the Sector Commander, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Corps Commander Wobin Ayuba Gora was quoted out of context on the use of Google map app while driving, during the 2019 ‘Ember Months’ flag off held in Lugbe, FCT on Wednesday.

“According to the writer, the FCT Sector Commander while delivering his ember months address stated that driving with the aid of Google map using mobile phone is a serious traffic offence.

“The Corps wishes to state that the Sector Commander must have been misquoted and his statement outrightly misrepresented because the Federal Road Safety Corps as a technology driven organisation is not and has never stood against the use of Google map by motorists.
