Leave Nasarawa State First Lady Alone, English I Languange Is Someone’s Mother Tongue. Twitter User lament


The internet went agog a few days ago over a purported video of the wife of Nasarawa state Governor who couldn’t read her speech fluently in an event.

A twitter user has called on people to live the First Lady alone. According to him, English is not our language and so it doesn’t depict who we are.

The Special Assistant to President Buhari on social media, Mrs. Lauretta Onochie has cried out over the humiliating and shameful act which was portrayed by a teacher and security at the popular Queens Cool Lagos heater.

Recalled that a video was trending yesterday Wednesday of a girl who fixed eyelashes which made the school authority send her home.

But her mother came and a fight broke out between the teacher and the parent.

According to Mrs. Onochie, the role of the school is to facilitate learning which includes character building and poor behavior but not the other way round.

She also called on the management of Queens college to really retrain their staffs.

On behalf of my Husband- His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive governor of Kogi state, the entire Bello household and good people of Kogi state, I want to express my appreciation to the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria President Mohammadu Buhari GCFR for his unalloyed support towards my husband’s successful second term bid. Furthermore, my special gratitude goes to Her Excellency Dr (Mrs) Aisha Buhari for her unparalleled humility and motherly disposition towards my husband and his now realized reelection aspiration.

Worthy of praise is the national leader of APC – Ashiwaju Bola Tinunbu whose sagacity lubricated my husband re-election machinery.

My gratitude also goes to the perspicacious national chairman of the APC Adams Oshomole, The NWC of APC, All the progressive Governors for their invaluable support.

The traditional as well as religious leaders who in no small way stabilized the polity ,I thank you all.

The Kogi state APC executives and the kogites youths who worked tirelessly for the success of the APC ,I appreciate you all . I also acknowledge the great sacrifices of my effectional Mother-in-law, who prayed ceaselessly for her Son’s ( my husband) success.

Burna Boy Joins League of Nigerians Nominated for Grammy Awards…Would Nigeria Win This Time?


The nomination of Burna Boy’s “African Giant” on Wednesday for Grammy Awards sent fresh excitement to Nigeria’s music and entertainment industry.

“African Giant” album released in 2019 was selected for the Best World Music Album category for Grammy Awards 2020.

This was disclosed by the organisers on their website, where the full list was published

Burna Boy’s nomination is for albums containing at least 51 per cent playing time of new vocal or instrumental World Music recordings.

Other artistes nominated in the same category with Burna Boy include: Altin Gün (GECE); Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley (WHAT HEAT); Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet (FANM D’AYITI) and Angelique Kidjo (CELIA).
