Footballer Kelechi Iheanacho has just lost his Personal Assistant in a ghastly accident while returning from a nightclub.

According to the reports, David, Iheanacho’s Personal assistant was returning from a night club in the early hours of Saturday 26th when he rammed into another vehicle along Owerri Onitsha expressway.

May his soul rest in peace.

I Have to Resign To Save The Church, Pastor Who Got Busted While Marrying Another Wife Says


Pastor Emmanuel Olusegun Taiwo who was caught by his wife while marrying another fellow pastor madam wonder, has finally resigned as a minister of God.

Pastor Emanuel took the decision after his wife, Pastor Vicky, reportedly caught him in a secret wedding in Lagos with another female minister, Pastor Wonder.

PM Express had reported that the secret wedding took place at 6 Matthew Ojo Street by Whitehouse Bus Stop off Governor’s Road, Ikotun area of Lagos.

The resignation followed after one of his wives, Elizabeth, showed up at the venue of the secret wedding. But before then, Pastor Taiwo and Pastor Wonder had hurriedly left the venue over the embarrassment caused earlier by his other wife, Pastor Vicky.

However, their disappearance from the venue did not prevent Mrs. Elizabeth from telling the few guests, who were still present, that Pastor Taiwo was her husband before he dumped her for Pastor Vicky and now trying to get married to the new wife, Pastor Wonder.

When P.M.EXPRESS correspondent contacted Pastor Taiwo over the allegations by different women claiming to be his wives, he said he was no longer a pastor.

“I am no longer a pastor, I have resigned over the scandal to save the Church embarrassment,” he said.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the newest wife, Pastor Wonder, is the 6th wife, Pastor Vicky was the 5th while Mrs. Elizabeth was the 4th wife in the series with three other women yet to be disclosed.

It was gathered that when Pastor Taiwo heard that Mrs. Elizabeth eventually came to the venue, he was terribly shocked and then decided to quit as a Pastor.

Read As 210 Bandit Repents

Sokoto State Government said on Saturday that no fewer than 210 bandits have repented since its commencement of peace dialogue with bandits in the state.

The state Commissioner for Carrier and Security Matters, retired Col. Garba Moyi, disclosed this to newsmen in Sokoto.

Moyi, who is coordinating the peace dialogue, also said it had facilitated the release of all persons kidnapped by the bandits.

According to him, those freed, mostly Sokoto indigenes and some from Kebbi, Zamfara and the Niger Republic, had been reunited with their families.

Leaders of seven bandits groups with about 20 to 30 members have already repented and surrendered their weapons while many are underway.

” We are at the stage of disarmament.

“The attacks have stopped, captives released, weapons surrendered, mounting of checkpoints by bandits stopped, all part of the peace agreement reached in the dialogue initiative,” Moyi said.

According to him, on the side of government, execution of projects beneficial to communities where the repentant bandits reside has commenced.

Government has begun to drill boreholes, demarcation of cattle grazing routes, areas and passages and other palliatives,” the commissioner said.

Moyi added that the government has also been assisting victims of banditry attacks accommodated in Internally Displaced Person camps as well as those that returned to their settlements.

He said the government had provided them with food items, clothes, beddings, medicals, farming inputs, and other items to cushion their hardships.

According to him, it was a remarkable and unprecedented achievement and appealed to communities as well as the general public to support the peace dialogue.

He urged media practitioners and traditional rulers to enlighten people on the importance of the process, in order to achieve the desired impact.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that on Oct. 23, Gov. Aminu Tambuwal presented 102 guns recovered from the repentant bandits to the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Kaoje.

The weapons comprised 23 AK47, 7GPMG, 2M4 Magazines, and 50 locally made rifles, among others.

The Organisation of Fulani’s Know as Miyetti Allah has apologized to the Benue state governor over the killing by its people in the state.

The Miyetti Allah’s National Secretary of the Miyetti Allah Kautul Hore organization, Saleh Alhassan issued the apology on behalf of the organization on Saturday 26th October 2019.

Speaking at a peace meeting held in Makurdi, Alhassan vowed to ensure the peaceful coexistence of herders and farmers in Benue State.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Terver Akase, it was stated that the peace initiative was brokered by Allen Onyema, the Chairman of Air Peace.

The statement reads in part, “The Miyeitti Allah scribe described Governor Ortom as a peace-loving man who stood firmly for the emancipation of his people.

“Alhasan gave assurance that members of the group would embrace the peace initiatives put forward by the Governor.”

The statement further said that Governor Ortom told the group that the enactment of the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law by the state was meant to encourage ranching as the global best practice for animal husbandry and also end the killing of innocent people.

Punch newspaper reports that the Governor also said that any person or group wishing to rear livestock in the state was free to acquire land and do so in accordance with the provisions of the ranching law of the state.

Support President Buhari On Border Closures- Emeka Anyaoku


A one-time Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, has called on Nigerians, to support the recent closure of Nigeria’s land borders by President Muhammadu, saying it could promote a homegrown policy and boost the economy.

Chief Anyaoku made the call on Saturday stressing that the country would experience a positive turnaround in its economy if Nigerians curbed their appetite for imported goods.

the News Agency of Nigeria quoted the elder statesman to have said. We should support our foreign border closure by President Muhammadu Buhari and its ultimate importance to the homegrown policy,”.

It is clear that the abundant variety of Nigeria’s natural resources and our large population constitute adequate phases for the country’s economic prosperity if the federal and state governments can show a determination to provide the necessary policy and practical support.

“And also, if our citizens can be persuaded or even coerced through regulation into curbing their appetite for imported, rather than locally produced goods, there will be a tremendous turnaround in the economy.” Anyaoku said.
