Air Peace @ 5…Passengers’ Safety, Comfort Our Priority, Says Management


Management of Air Peace has reiterated its commitment to the safety and comfort of its passengers, as it turns five.

The airline said it would to celebrate its 5th anniversary on October 24 by rewarding passengers with various gifts including free tickets, souvenirs and improved inflight refreshments.

Air Peace, in a statement by its new spokesman, Stanley Olisa, said the Chairman/CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, has described Air Peace as a multi-country airline.

He said the airline’s five years had been era of steady progress, adding that the airline’s vision of creating seamless connections and network options for its domestic, regional and international markets, was being achieved.

Onyema also expressed gratitude to every stakeholder that had supported the airline since inception and promised more improved air transport services.

Exclusive- Update On Adam A Zango And The Payment Of N46M Tuition Fees


The Internet went agog yesterday when the news of a Kannywood veteran actor and musician Adam A. Zango reportedly paid tuition fees for 101 students of a school in Zaria.

Some immediately came out to falsify the story causing a lot of confusion, according to most, it is just a lie and another way for him to hipe himself and become more popular.

Rasheedasblog placed a call to Mallam Ramalan Musa Yaro, who admits the authenticity of the payment.

Mallam Yero who said he was the Admin office of Professor Ango Abdulla International school re-affirms the payment of (N46, 720,500) forty-six million, seven hundred and twenty thousand and five hundred.

According to Yero, the payment is real and there was no falsehood in the story. And the date for the payment was the 11th of October 2019 as seen on the document below. Kudos to Zango.

Afreximbank, Russian Railways Signed Agreement With Kaduna State Government


Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, has disclosed that Afreximbank, Russian Railways and Kaduna state has signed an Agreement on financing the construction and operation of Light railway Lines in Kaduna state.

The agreement was signed in Sochi Russia on the 24th October, 2019. The governor who was among the entourage that travelled with the president for the Russian-African Economic Summit. This is part of the benefits recorded on the journey.

The governor posted on his facebook where he wrote, ” On behalf of KDSG, a Tripartite Agreement was signed between Afreximbank, Russian Railways and Kaduna State Government on the financing, construction & operation of Light Railway Lines in Kaduna State. Signed in Sochi, Russia; 24th October 2019“.

Lekki Seaport in 30 Months…Lagos Signs Four Agreements with China Development Bank, Including $629m Financing Facility


Lagos State Government Wednesday signed four agreements with China Development Bank (CDB), including $629 million financing facility, to accelerate the completion of the Lekki Deep Seaport project, which started in 2011.

The loan was secured from the Chinese bank after China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), which owns majority shares in the project, signed a 45-year concessionary agreement with Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited (LPLTZ) to complete the Phase 1 of the deep seaport project.

Nigeria’s first deep seaport would be delivered in Lekki in 30 months.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Consul General of Chinese Embassy in Lagos, Chu Maoming, and representatives of key stakeholders in the projectamong others.

Other agreements signed by the CDB, CHEC and LPLEL include Completion Agreement; Sponsor Support Agreement; and Tripartite Keep Well Agreement.

Aisha Buhari Calls On Nigerian Women To Always Do A Monthly Cancer Self Breast Examination- photos


Wife of president Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has called on young girls and Nigerian women to always make it a point of duty to examined themselves monthly for breast cancer.

Mrs. Buhari made the call on her Facebook page where she started that early detection helps in saving lives, this message is in commemoration of the world cancer awareness.
