Imam Abubakar, Aiforce officer Bashir Umar honoured in Makka by NAHCON.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, has taken it’s time to give recognition to some Muslims with extraordinary Islamic character at the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Among those recognised are, Imam Abubakar Abdullahi who saved over 350 Christians faithfuls in his home in Jos, plateau state central Nigeria.
Also recognised is Corporal Bashir Umar of the Nigerian Air Force who returned €37,000 he found at Kano Hajj Camp to its owner on Sunday, July 7, recalled Bashir was promoted by the Nigerian airforce for this singular act while the Imam bagged himself an American award.
The Chairman/CEO enjoined Muslims to emulate them, so that the country will be united as one, Imam was also nominated as member of the National Ulama Team, while Bashir Umar a member of the National Security Committee.
