NAHCON Chairman visits Kano/ Katsina ahead of Inaugural flights, promised to build a hotel for 500 intending pilgrims.
The AG Chairman National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Barr Abdullahi Muktal Mohammed, has promised that the commission will build a hotel which will accommodate up to 500 intending pilgrims in Kano.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to Governor Ganduje, as well as inspection of facilities put in place for the pilgrims in Kano yesterday 9th july 2019. The acting chairman said the hotel will also be used for commercial purposes after Hajj operations.
He said” we are mooting such idea of building the hotel to instill confidence in the mind of our intending pilgrims to appreciate the fact we really about them and always believed that they should enjoy the best of service. The capacity of the hotel we are planning to build would be a befitting one. We want to have a suitable accommodation for them, instead of accommodating them in the pilgrims’ camp,”
The chairman also pays a similar visit to the governor of Katsina state and also inspected the facilities on the ground in preparation for the inaugural flight which will begin today from katsina by 2 pm. See photos of the two visits below.
